7. Cemetery Fees
1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022
Fees apply to those who immediately prior to their death were residents within the district of Teignbridge. For non-residents the fees will be doubled.
Walled graves up to 6ft 1.83m only
Cost is in addition to earthen charge and applied to all depths.

A grave or cremation plot may only be purchased in advance for a term of 20 years with the option of a 5 year extension after the 20 years. In most cases the next consecutive grave or cremation plot will be issued.

In accordance with Article 10 of the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order 1977 the Council may grant to any person the Exclusive Right of Burial in any grave and to the owner of such grave the right to place a memorial.
