3. Salary

When we advertise a vacancy, the advert and application information will tell you the salary range for that post. The rate of pay is determined through a job evaluation scheme and new employees are appointed to the first point in the salary scale of the grade for the post. Pay increments are awarded annually, subject to performance, until the top of the grade is achieved.

Salaries are paid on the 23rd of each month (which will be brought forward if the 23rd falls on a weekend or bank holiday) directly into a bank or building society account.
