When can I operate private hire vehicles?

You can take bookings for private hire vehicles once the licence has been issued. You must have a telephone base to take documented bookings within Teignbridge. You need an operator licence if you want to operate licensed private hire vehicles driven by licensed private hire drivers.

Each vehicle must hold a private hire licence, and each driver must hold a private hire driver's licence.
