The Planning Applications

Bloor Homes have submitted two applications to the Council for consideration. They are:

  1. Hybrid application comprising outline application for up to 900 dwellings (C3), retirement/extra care accommodation (C2, C3), employment uses (B1, B2 and B8), primary school (D1 and D2), mixed-use local centre (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, B1, C2, C3, D1, D2), community and leisure (D1, D2), section of A382 / A383 link road, strategic and local open space, and site preparation, other associated works and infrastructure (all matters reserved) and detailed application for Phase 1 comprising 408 dwellings (C3). 

    For clarity the total dwellings proposed in this application is a maximum of 900, the detailed 408 is part of that 900. This application falls wholly within the allocation as defined in the Local Plan. The application can be viewed on our website under reference 20/00585/MAJ

  2. Outline planning application for up to 250 dwellings (C3), including open space and site preparation, other associated works and infrastructure (all matters reserved).

    This application relates to land immediately adjoining the western most edge of the allocation but does not sit within the confines of the allocation. This land is being put forward by the applicant as a means of meeting the minimum 1800 dwellings the Policy should deliver.  This is being considered as a departure from the Local Plan.   The application can be viewed on our website under reference 20/00586/MAJ
