Help with collections

If you are struggling to put your bins out on collection day. We can provide smaller bins or arrange for your bins to be collected and returned to an alternative location.

Smaller bins

We can provide you with:

• smaller recycling boxes with handles
• smaller wheeled bins for non-recyclable waste or garden waste.

Collections from an alternative location

You can apply for help with your collections, if no one living in your property is able to put your bins and boxes out on the pavement.

Before you apply

• if you live with someone who can put your bins and boxes out, you won’t be able to use this service
• if your bins or boxes are left at the kerbside for collection, we will assume you don't need help putting them out
