Report a missed bin or box

If your whole street is waiting for a collection, please leave your bins out.

Roadworks, lorry breakdowns, extreme weather and other unexpected events can delay collections. When this happens we will return as soon as possible.

If we have visited your street and only missed your bin, please let us know.

Before you report 

Check:

• your bins were out on the right day
• your bins were out by 6am
• your bin was on the pavement outside your house, or as close to the public highway as possible. 
• your recycling was sorted into the correct boxes

Remember:

• collections take place between 6am and 4pm
• the time we collect from your house may vary each week
• a different vehicle collects black bins than recycling bins
• a vehicle may leave your street before its finished if it is full and needs to empty

When to report a missed collection 

• you have 48 hours to report your bins or boxes as missed
• we will not return for your bin, if you report it later than this
