If you have an item that is broken, volunteers at your local repair café may be able to fix it.

Donate to charity

Charities may collect your items for free if they are in working order/usable.

Recycling centre

You can take large items to your local recycling centre. Please check their website for any costs and restrictions.

Sell online

You can sell preloved furniture and other items on online market places.

Upcycle

You can give items a second life by upcycling them.

Private man and van services

Private companies may be able to dispose of your waste for you. It is your duty to check that they have the appropriate licence and get rid of your waste responsibly.
