Apply for clinical waste collections
We can collect infectious waste from your home if you are medically treating yourself.
If a nurse administers your treatment, they are responsible for removing any waste generated.
To set up infectious waste collections, you will need to return a referral form signed by a medical professional confirming that your waste is infectious.
The following don't need a special collection:
- nappies and sanitary items
- incontinence pads
- stoma or catheter bags
- ulcer and other dressings
- 'peg'/stomach feeding items
- home dialysis kits
- medical packaging
These items can be put in a securely tied bag in your black wheeled bin.
If you can't fit your medical waste in your black bin, please contact us.
Use the form below to set up collections, or request a new roll of orange sacks if you are registered for this service.
