Following our conversations with members and representatives from across our communities, we have listened to your feedback and put together this statement of principles on how we will work.
- We will talk meaningfully to you about the projects and decisions that affect you and encourage you to get involved in what happens in your area.
- We will make sure you can see how and why decisions are being made.
- We will manage our money and resources so that we can provide well run services.
- We will support our communities in managing the impacts of climate change and do what we can to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the district.
- We will provide opportunities for healthier and happier living.
- We will advocate on behalf of our communities to improve services that other organisations provide.
- We will support the voluntary sector to provide services to our communities that are most in need.
