2. Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety
Who is the qualification for?
The CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) Intermediate Certificate in Food Safety is designed for managers and supervisors who need a broad understanding of food safety control, and who have responsibility for developing and maintaining a food safety management system.
- Anyone involved in supervising and managing others in a food environment
- Those wishing to progress from the Foundation Certificate in Food Safety
It is recommended that all food environments should have at least one person trained to this level.

Duration: 3.5 days
Venue: the council offices at Forde House, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4XX
Cost: £285
Schedule: 9.30am to 5pm (lunch is not provided)
Exam: multiple choice
Examination
The course ends with a multiple choice exam.
You will receive an e-certificate when you pass the exam.
All our courses are delivered in English unless stated otherwise. You must have a good understanding of written and spoken English to attend this course.

- Thursday 18 November - am only (revision session and exam)
